Jason Gilbert The Atmo Black flavor of Black Metal isn't my favorite; but if one album could change that, it would be this one. If a sound was a color, this album would be a verdant, lush green, while at the same time, sounding like the soundtrack to a cold, lonely journey through outer space. I have no idea how these songs make me feel both. I'm completely in love with this and am already craving more. Thanks, OPHANIM, for one of the most amazing pieces of music I have ever heard.

"Tämpelskläng" can best be described as ethereal. The band manages to create celestial atmospheres that are simultaneously airy and incredibly captivating, retaining the listener's attention throughout the entire experience. The music emanates strongly psychedelic characteristics as well, the strength of which is likely drawn from the ancient scriptures Ophanim is inspired by. These aspects are further elevated by an unintrusive production, a result of Ophanim's meticulous craft.

The first riff on „Fiebertraum“ is loosely based on the „Hurrian Hymn“, the most ancient surviving piece of music in the world.

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey. The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time.
